Dracula’s Castle

Bran Castle, perched dramatically on a cliff in Transylvania, Romania, is famously linked to the Dracula legend, though its actual connection to Vlad the Impaler is tenuous. Built in the 14th century as a fortress to defend against Ottoman invasions, it later served as a royal residence for Queen Marie of Romania in the 1920s.
